Functioning

Our process consists of the following stages:

First stage
Patients stay at the centre from 10.00 a .m. to 17.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 10.00 a .m. to 13.00 p.m. on Saturdays. At this first stage accommodation will be provide by the Centre together with all the necessary care and technical support.

  • Medical, psychiatric, psychological care and counselling by technicians;
  • Twelve-step programme;
  • Individual therapies;
  • Group therapies;
  • Relapse programme;
  • Writing essays;
  • Lectures;
  • Formative and informative reading;
  • Family conferences;
  • Workshops;
  • Watching didactic videos;
  • Group work coordination;
  • Taking part in self-support groups (NA/AA).

 

Second stage
Post-treatment support/ ambulatory

  • Patient supervision by means of personal interviews and group therapies to take place on Saturdays;
  • Creating a post-treatment plan with the objectives for a one-year term;
  • Assessment of the personal processes in the short and medium term;
  • Orientating the individual towards changes/ improvement of his/her behaviour/attitudes;
  • Setting up a multifarious social support/social professional reintegration and Employment Life Programme;
  • Active Socializing;
  • Taking part in groups on self-support more effectively.
